Book Launching "Lingking People" and Public Discussion on Indonesia-Australia Relations

On May 24, 2017, Paramadina Graduate School of Diplomacy in closely cooperation with Rumata’s Artspace/MIWF, the Herb Feith Foundation,
Kepustakaan Popular Gramedia (KPG) organised a Book Launching “Linking People” and Public Discussion on Indonesia-Australia Relations. This event is supported by Australia Global Alumni. In discussion, Jemma Purdey and Antje Missbach, the book editors, share ideas and stories behind the publication of the books. They also share views  about the challenging relation between Indonesia and Australia as well as their optimists about people to people connection and encounters among Indonesian and Australian. Jemma Purdey represents the Herb Feith Foundation, while Antje Missbach is a lecturer from Monash University. Lily Yulianti Farid from Rumata's Artspace is a translator of the book to Bahasa Indonesia as well as one of the article's authors of the book. She shares the fascinating stories on art activities and collaboration between Indonesian and Australia. She mentions about a interesting new phenomenon of Indonesian watching Coldplay's concert lately in Australia as a new trend of "cultural pilgrimage".
